Cooking courses

Christine and Sue are looking forward to cooking with you at our campsite Etang du Camp. Together we will make Sue’s delicious english boiled fruit cake, tasty english scones and some specialities from the Aveyron region.

Most of the recipes are cooked in the Remoska, a real space saving wonder and super practical when camping! The Remoska is a non-stick pot with an electric heating element in the lid. Ideal in the caravan where space is limited, but equally useful at home. 

And it uses 80 % less energy!

At the end of each course you will be able to sample the delicous food and receive copies of the recipes (also suitable for conventional ovens). If the weather allows it we might even cook outside!

Price per person for an afternoon cooking session is 12 € (includes food and recipes).

Miniumum 2 participants, maximum 4.

Have a go at turning on a wood lathe

Have you always wanted to have a go on a wood lathe, to make your own rolling-pin, candle holder, baseball-bat or even more complicated items? At our campsite you have the chance to rent our lathe. After a short instruction by Keith (cabinet maker) it is up to you what you create. 

But be aware it is addictive! 

The lathe is installed outside and can be used between 10 am and 12 am so it does not disturb other campers. A few essential savety factors must be followed. Adults only or responsible teenagers with parents supervision can rent the wood lathe.

15 € for a two hours session (including wood).

Every monday night from 8 pm to 9.30 pm a YOGA course is held at the campsite. 

The course is held by Barbara, a very experienced YOGA teacher. (Laughter garantied!). 

If the weather allows it the course takes place outside in the park by the lake, otherwise in our big function room.

Costs per person: 5€.
